WHERE WE’LL BE
First, you’ll be given a warm ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ (a hundred thousand welcomes) into Helena’s home in south Dublin, minutes from the heart of Dublin city to the north, the Wicklow mountains to the south & a stone’s throw from the Irish sea to the east. Then we’ll meet beer expert, Seán Fitzmaurice at his west of Ireland abode in Ennis, County Clare near the Wild Atlantic Way; home to the Cliffs of Moher and a plethora of Irish castles.

Join acclaimed seanchaí (Irish storyteller) & singer, Helena Byrne, and beer expert, Seán Fitzmaurice as they take you on a spectacular tour across the Irish landscape to explore some of Ireland’s finest traditions; music, storytelling & great beer!
From Dublin to Donegal, Cork to Belfast, Seán will guide you through the fascinating world of Irish beers; from the origins of the country’s most famous breweries, to the brewing process itself, followed by a collection of lively Irish folk songs from each brewery’s locality performed by Helena to complement the experience.
What gives Irish red ale it’s colour? How long does it take for lager to ferment? Did Molly Malone enjoy a pint of Guinness now and again? Discover all of this and more on this unique and fun-filled journey into Irish culture.
This is an interactive experience, and Helena and Seán are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Irish folklore, music & beer! You’ll be encouraged to sing along, ask questions & enjoy a tasty pint throughout.
