WHERE WE’LL BE
You’ll be given a warm ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ (a hundred thousand welcomes) into Helena’s family home in county Kilkenny, in the south east of Ireland, followed by a stroll around the beautifully rich, green surroundings that are home to the family’s pet donkeys, Jenny & Belle.
WHAT WE’LL DO
We’ll take a stroll outside and join donkeys, Jenny & Belle to explore the picturesque Irish countryside on our doorstep!
With Jenny & Belle’s assistance, Helena will guide you through the family’s mini-orchard to see how this year’s apples are faring, explore the native Irish wild flowers & birds and learn about the Celtic mythology & folklore attached to these plants & feathered friends. Then, to reward them for all their help, it’ll be time to feed Jenny & Belle with their favourite food; carrots!
This is an interactive experience throughout. Questions are greatly encouraged & Helena is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Irish folklore & history.
So sit back, relax & let this experience transport you right into the heart of Ireland’s beautiful countryside.
